I am a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1981. The difference between a Broker and an agent is a Broker has the ability to hire agents under his or her supervision. while an agent must always work for a broker, and this is a significant difference as many agents do not have the training or experience of a broker. I've also represented Fannie Mae, and The Department of Veteran affairs as a designated broker for the disposal of REO properties. I've closed as many as 59 properties in one year. I've also been trained as a mortgage banker. This is important as financing is a key to successful home ownership.
