Ben Nicolas

Growing up in a military family, Ben lived in many states and countries before settling down in Southern California. Upon earning a degree in Economics from UCLA in 2001, he joined a family-owned real estate business as a salesperson. He went on to co-found IET Real Estate in 2008 and the rest is history. Ben’s approach to both work and life is marked by a solid work ethic, accountability, and professionalism. is expertise includes: Compliance, Trust Fund Handling, DRE & NMLS Licensing Issues, Best Practices for Liability and Risk Mitigation. He also has significant experience in purchasing, selling, financing, renovating & managing long-term and short-term rentals. When he isn’t working with clients, he enjoys spending time with family, reading, coaching youth basketball, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and pretty much anything related to maintaining & improving mental & physical fitness.

Since 2008 Ben has been the Broker of Record for both IET Real Estate and IET Capital. He has closed over 1000 real estate and loan transactions as a salesperson/loan officer/broker/wholesale rep, and 40+ transactions as a principal.
