We decided to go with Home Selling Team (HST) when we began planning our move to Connecticut. We chose HST based on reviews left by others and all the information on the HST website. We made a great choice. We are thankful that we did. Earlier this year we decided it was time to relocate to the Mansfield area to be closer to family. We would be leaving a home of 40+ years, going to an area which were familiar with, but knew nothing about the housing market. We planned on giving ourselves a year to find a house and move. It did not take a year. In fact, it was incredibly quick (especially since we needed to shed 40 years of stuff). We purchased a home this summer and have since moved in. We met with Brian McCarthy from HST this past spring. Our goal was to learn about purchasing a home in the Mansfield area and to determine whether we wanted to work with Brian and HST. It was a very productive meeting.

Brian was very helpful in giving recommendations for getting my house ready for sale. He was very thorough and knowledgeable which helped the house present well. I had an offer within two days of listing the house. And then he followed through with the many details that were necessary to complete the house sale. I would definitely recommend Brian. I had thought about trying to sell my house by myself and am so glad that I had Brian's assistance. It was well worth the money.

He immediately forwarded our dream over to a reputable builder and that got the process started. From showing us different building lots, scheduling countless meetings, helping us find a loan officer and responding quickly to calls, texts and emails, he was with us every step of the way! Brian helped me purchased two commercial properties on Main Street in Willimantic. I've learned that purchasing commercial property is a painstakingly detailed process and Brian's experience, expedient communications, and thorough understanding of the local market helped make a seemingly difficult and arduous process streamlined and manageable. Brian assisted in keeping things on schedule and making sure the parties involved in the deal; attorneys, environmental engineers, seller's representatives, et al. stayed on point and were always in the loop.
