After graduating from Buchholz High School, she left Gainesville to pursue a business education at Duke University and an MBA in marketing from The Wharton School of Business. After a career in pharmaceutical consulting, she returned to Gainesville and pursued real estate.
Betsy opened Pepine Realty in 2010 and began helping families and businesses with their relocation, second-home purchases, primary residences and office spaces.
Betsy is an active volunteer in the community, earning her the Impact Award in 2016 by Business in the Heart of Gainesville. Betsy has served on numerous boards and has been active teaching Gainesville's youth at church, assisting with homelessness in the community, is a board member of Alachua Habitat for Humanity and has raised several guide dogs for the blind. In her free time, she enjoys investing, pickleball and traveling. Most importantly, Betsy has two daughters and rescue dogs with whom she devotes significant time.
