Rachel is very energetic and although this listing might have been her lowest, at $175,000, she treated it as if she were getting a $1 million commission. This was a nightmare closing for her AND the seller because the buyer used a mortgage broker, although the seller was told "banker." Rachel had to arrange multiple extensions because the appraiser was untimely in his reporting and the buyer changed mortgage companies. The last one was in AZ, on a different time zone, and THE WORST at abiding by dates agreed in the contract. Rachel was on the phone with the buyer's agent/underwriter AND me--the personal representative of a trust--until almost midnight more than once trying to convince them that time was of the essence and expiration dates were stated in the contract for a reason. She was an angel for gracefully and empathetically listening to me vent my frustrations toward them.
