Tom Townsend

Tom worked in corporate America for nearly 15 years starting in the transportation industry and then ending in the technology consulting field. Tom’s career eventually led him to Canton, Georgia where he and his family have lived since 1999. With a growing family, Tom decided to leave his corporate career shortly after 9-11-2001 and pursue what had become a hobby (buying and selling homes), into a full-time career. This allowed him to focus on what truly matters to him – family and serving his local community. Tom quickly decided to expand his skills by becoming a Real Estate Appraiser and Home Inspector. After years of schooling, Tom obtained his Real Estate License and Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License, the state’s highest certification. Over the past several years Townsend Realty Group has grown into being one of the most respected Real Estate Companies in our market area. This growth is a direct reflection of the service provided to their clients and community.
