We have now used Michelle Buckun twice. The first time was to buy our first home, a short sale which no one thought we would be able to get, but she guided us with her expertise the entire way. When it came time, 7 years later, to sell our first home we did not hesitate to contact Michelle to sell our home and buy our forever home. She was patient with us, answered our millions of questions and throughout the whole process did more than any normal real estate agent should do. She was involved more than anyone, got us answers when we were not hearing back from our lender and communicated with us about the realities of the market. She steered us towards homes that she knew we would be happy in, and ultimately we found the perfect home. Did I mention that we sold our home before it was even put on the market? Because we did! I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to Michelle for I know how she treats her clients like family.

We interviewed several realtors before deciding to list our home for sale with Michelle. Some of the others seemed less interested because the commission was not a high dollar one, others just seemed to be going through the motions. Michelle made us feel as if she personally cared about us. Took the time to answer our questions, gave hints on how to better present the home. We listed the home with Michelle at about 5:00 pm on Friday afternoon, at 11:00 the next day while we were on the way shopping, got a call from Michelle saying she had a firm full price cash offer for the home. I know not all homes Michelle will sell this quickly, very few do, but the professionalism and effort Michelle put forth has convinced me to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the McHenry area.
