I was born and raised in the steel city of Pittsburgh, PA, For the past 39 years I have called many parts of Maryland my home, but now Sabillasville is my haven. My strong work ethic and real estate experience began when I was trained up in the family construction business at the age of just 17. It was here that I gained a great wealth of knowledge about the housing industry. After earning 2 college degrees I expanded my horizons and worked with literally thousands of teenagers. For the past 19 years I have been Full-time to conduct my real estate profession in both Maryland & Pennsylvania and have been associated with Remax Results in Frederick. Darlene earned her BA from McDaniel College in 1984. She married in 1982, had a son and managed her parent's retail appliance store for a decade. She began her real estate career in 1992 & moved to Re/Max Advantage Realty in 2003. She has been their Top Individual Producer almost every year since. Darlene loves helping people. Her favorite buyers are First Time Buyers, where she gets to teach them everything about home ownership and the buying process. In her spare time she volunteers with the Carroll Hospital Center & Hospice Fund Raising Committee's. Darlene has supported the 4-H Program, where her son Benjamin was Mr. 4-H in the year 2000. Other organizations she helps support are; Local Fire Depts., Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Red Cross, YMCA, VFW & Business Women's Clubs. Darlene has earned several awards through the years including Lifetime Achievement, Hall of Fame, and Realtor of the Year '2017'.

Growing up in Real Estate showed me how to work hard and get the job done for my clients, whatever that job is, from showing homes last minute to showing them in a blizzard. Yes, I did that once for clients who were relocating! I remember my Dad a week before he passed working from a hospital bed, phone on his belly and a weak voice putting deals together for his clients.
