Finding your way home can seem like a long journey. I should know because I was raised here in Southern Missouri. I can tell you from firsthand experience that home is where the heart is and my heart has always been in Missouri! I guess you could say that service is in my blood. I left my hometown of Poplar Bluff, MO to enlist in the Air Force when I was just 17 and proudly served for 10 years. I am an Operation Desert Storm Veteran, completing a tour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1994, I was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and ultimately planted some roots there. Like most military folk, I understand what it’s like to move around. As much as I love the Grand Canyon State, the Ozarks called me home. I am so pleased to live here in the Springfield area, so close to where I grew up.
