About Nate

About
I first fell in love with the High Country as a student at Appalachian State. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, I enjoy the slower pace of life and more community that mountain living affords. As a graduate of Appalachian State University with concentrations in Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, my business background helps serve buyers and sellers of homes, land and investment property. Previous roles I have held are small business insurance underwriting for Nationwide Insurance and technology/e-commerce for Club Shop Peanuts & Golf. I also serve as Vice President for the Foscoe Grandfather Community Center and Park. In 2014, I married my wife Kelsey who is from the Foscoe area. Her family has strong ties having settled here over 200 years ago. Together we are a dedicated team with a deep knowledge of the area. Combined with our broker in charge Margie Hyatt, we have a combined 30+ years of experience.

He responded to our request to sell our home promptly and was enthusiastic about helping us with the selling process. He took pictures with a professional camera, updated us consistently, and sold our home! We highly recommend contacting Nate!

David J. bought a home in Beech Mountain

It took me almost a year to make up my mind and Nate was very patient with my need to take time and find the best property for my needs. I liked that I could trust Nate and felt he had my best interest in mind. He did not pressure me and was not pushing to make a quick buck. I also liked that he was very good in written communications via email since that was my preferred method of communication for the most part. I highly recommend Nate if you are looking for property in the area.

Pam T. sold a home in Boone

Nate gave me great advice on preparing and listing my home for sale. He did a great job helping connect the right buyer to purchase my home. His negotiating skills were way above what I had anticipated. I was so grateful that he was able to help me sell my home in a timely manner.

Mary E. sold a home in Boone

We are out of town owners and were attempting to sell a home. Kelsey made the process seamless, and she answered each of the many, many questions I posed. My emails, calls, and texts were promptly answered, and she was instrumental in finding service providers we used in preparation to sell the home. When the weather turned cold, Kelsey visited the house to ensure the heating was working properly. Going above the call is her norm.
