Why I do It….. After 26+ years, I retired from the USAF. Being in the Air Force guaranteed one thing…that you will be moving with or without your family to different locations on the planet…and often. During all those moves, one key thing I learned as a homeowner was that “Home is truly where the heart is”! It’s that place that made the daily grind worth facing…because at the end of each day-I had a home to be in, with my family. It’s that place where distant family and friends show up unannounced… because they can. So the Big Question is why I do this? Why I chose this career path? The answer is easy. Home buying or selling can be intimidating, frustrating and overwhelming for many people…I make sure I am aware of the smallest details and am always prepared for the unexpected. I spent 15 years in the United States Air Force and 6 years working for the US Department of Agriculture. I have had many opportunities and jumped at them all which allowed me to vary my work history and learn new trades which has kept me on my toes! I have worked as a Surgical Assistant, IT Project Manager, and a Contracts Specialist to name a few. When the opportunity presented itself, and the time was right for my family, I left the government sector for a new challenge – a career in Real Estate.
