Our family land was sold to the Research Triangle Foundation in 1959 when it was just a vision. Interesting that my first job was at Burroughs Wellcome in RTP. My Dad purchased acreage in Durham and many years later we our land was combined with neighboring properties to become a subdivision. Becoming a Realtor was a natural progression for me.
