Amy Spivey

Amy Spivey is a Haywood County native whose family has been in Western North Carolina prior to the Civil War. She is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Western Carolina University. A full time Realtor since 2004, she has been very pleased with the challenges and opportunities that being a Realtor provides. Being a Realtor is not so different than the human service work I did previously. It is a helping profession, listening to others wants and needs and facilitating the process. It is very satisfying to assist others in attaining their dreams, Amy says. Amy, husband Tarver and son Henry enjoy the outdoors through activities such as camping, skiing and backpacking. Amy has a special love of mountain and traditional music and dance. She enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer service. Amy was the 2015 President for the Haywood County Board of Realtors, holds the ECO, GREEN and SFR designations and was the 2007 and 2014 Realtor of the Year.
