Working with Melanie proved to be a wise decision for such a critical purchase. I recently had to make a move before the holidays, from another state. my time was very limited and i needed to make a decision so that my family would have a place to live before the holiday break. We had some specific parameters sent prior to our arrival to the city, which she used to begin her search. However, and fortunately, she did not limit her search to our parameters and included her extensive knowledge of the area. She accommodated to our schedule and was able to show us 5 properties the day we arrived. We viewed the ones we thought we wanted and then, out of courtesy, we saw her suggestion. Well, we fell in love with the property and never would have considered it simply based on the lot size. Melanie never pressured any decisions and always allowed the facts to speak for themselves. All her communication was timely and she always kept us informed.

Melanie is the best...period! Her knowledge, responsiveness, and overall expertise made all the difference, and we were able to find a great home in a terrific neighborhood...all good! This was even more challenging since we have a son with 'special-needs', complicating the home search quite a bit. We couldn't have asked for a better agent--like I said, absolutely the best!! Melanie helped in the sale of an unusual home that had been a problem. She had a good knowledge of the market. There were a number of items that needed repair and Melanie had the connections with contractors. This was especially valuable to us as we live in Northern California, Melanie coordinated the repairs and with her husband did some too.

Melanie Peak did a great job on selling our home. From the first meeting with her until the house was sold she kept us in the loop as to prospects, feedback from the ones that were interested but did not buy, and very helpful suggestions on how to make our home present itself in the most positive light. She was also very helpful in finding local vendors to correct a few things that needed to be fixed in order to get the house in perfect condition. Her knowledge of the area was a definite plus for getting the job done. We would not hesitate to call upon her again if the need ever arises.
