Before meeting with Carmine, I was clueless about the Hoboken market coming from NYC. I had been looking for an investment property and wanted someone I could trust before making the plunge.Then I met Carmine and he patiently worked with me as he walked me through dozens of properties to educate me. Carmine helped my wife and me through an exhausting house-hunting process that dragged on due to numerous delays in the sale of our old home. One has been told never to mix business and friendship - it never ends well. However, my husband and I decided to buck that trend when we hired Carmine to market and sell our row house that we had lived in for 20 years! Besides the very sentimental notion of selling a house in which we raised our daughter, it also happened to be two doors down from our really good friend, Carmine Simmons. We had been neighbors for approximately 17 of those years! When we finally decided to take the plunge and put our house on the market, Carmine guided us through every step of the way - setting an appropriate price; staging the house; shopping the market; conducting private showings (and being present at all of them!) and calming our jitters throughout the whole process. The house sold quickly, above asking, and most of all, we're still the best of friends. In my mind, that says it all!
