About
When I got into real estate, I thought it would be a temporary job until a "real" job teaching in the public schools came along. after 8 years in the business, I suddenly realized that this was my real job and I loved it. I took the courses to get my broker's license and never thought about another real job since. My bachelor's degree is in teaching, and my master's degree is in counseling. I always tell my clients that I don't sell real estate--I teach and I counsel. I love meeting new people--especially new folks coming to our college town who have no clue about what a wonderful place this is to live. As for the locals, many of us (myself included) came here thinking we would stay a few years and leave. Decades later, we are still here! Living in a college town means there is something for everyone, and living in the middle of Pennsylvania means there is a lot of hiking, skiing (water and snow!) and easy access to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore and Washington D.C.
