Coming from out of state, it was comforting to have a relator with knowledge of the local community who could guide my husband and me to the type of properties we expressed interest in. She didn't try to upsell us out of my established budget and even negotiated to have my earnest money deposit returned on a deal that we found was not for us at the last minute.
