David W. Hickey

Regardless of the season, Jackson, Tennessee beckons to families. Davids family answered the call in 1962 and they have been here ever since. He left Jackson for a time but returned to his family and his roots in 1989. Growing up, David wanted to be a teacher, so when he entered Lambuth College (now Memphis State University, Lambuth Campus) in Jackson, that was the major he pursued. Graduating Cum Laude with a B. S. in History Education. After college, he joined Dotson Realtors in Jackson. Later, he returned to school and became a real estate paralegal. David began his own family in 1997 when he married the former Tracy Garrett. Having good math skills, they knew that one plus one equals three. They now have one daughter, Virginia Clare Gini. When not spending time with his present day family, David enjoys the finding out about all the people that make up his past. Genealogy is a real challenge and one that he has taken up as a lifetime effort.
