Derek has been a conservative political activist for over 30 years, and has worked for Vice President Mike Pence, Senator Phil Gramm, and Representative Mike Pence.
Derek received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Business, and Religion from Liberty University. Before returning to Texas in 2011, he also served as the Director of Government Relations for Americans for Limited Government.
