I am the treasurer of the Caribbean People Organization, which focuses on raising awareness for domestic violence and organizes numerous charity events, with their largest and most known/signature event being The Virginia Beach Caribbean Jerk Festival.
I'm also on the board of The Up Center, a local non-profit organization that’s been around for more than 100 years. They are committed to partnering with children, families & communities to improve lives and outcomes through prevention, intervention and support services.
Additionally, I am a member of the Virginia Beach Minority Business Council whose mission is to advance and facilitate an environment of business opportunities, focusing on increasing expenditures to minority and women owned businesses within the City as a means to further the city’s economic development and vitality.

Originally from the small twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, I migrated to Boston, MA in the summer of 2001. Shortly after I enlisted into the U.S Navy, which is ultimately what brought me to the Hampton Roads area. Following my service aboard the USS Nassau-LHA 4 from 2001-2005, I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Marketing at Old Dominion University where I graduated in May 2009. With a passion for real estate and my new understanding of the financial world, after graduation I decided to forgo the traditional corporate route and instead choose to obtain my real estate license in spring 2010 using this as an avenue to start my entrepreneurial journey. Since then I have built a successful career as an individual sales agent, then as a team leader, and now to opening the doors of his very own full-service real estate brokerage firm ONYX Realty Professionals. I am very passionate about investing, creating opportunities for others and creating generational wealth.
