Born in Norway, Jon’s parents immigrated to the U.S. in 1969 and moved the family to Colorado in 1974 where, in 1985, Jon graduated from Aurora’s Smoky Hill High School. He subsequently enlisted and served as a paratrooper, tank crewman, and scout with the U.S. Army’s elite 82nd Airborne Division, receiving an Honorable Discharge from active duty as a Sergeant (E-5) in 1989. After returning to Colorado, he utilized the Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in History from Metropolitan State College (nka Metropolitan State University) of Denver in 1996, then went on to earn an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver’s Graduate School of Business in 1999. Professionally, Jon earned a real estate title insurance license in 1991, serving 22 years in business development and as a VP Sales working alongside some of Colorado’s top Realtors® and mortgage loan officers, before earning his own Real Estate Broker’s license in 2013.

My jobs include Statistical Analysis & Avionics Maintenance. I've been an AF wife for over 30 years. I have many years of experience working in both Customer Service & Sales. I was born in Detroit, MI and graduated in Oscoda, MI. I have a BS in Marketing & an MBA. I have experience selling single-family homes, condos, townhomes, acreage properties & foreclosures. I also assist both buyers & sellers relocating in & out of the Metro Denver area & Colorado Springs. I work with their relocation companies. For fun I ride my BMW R1200RT, walk our dog Bella, play my flute in the PU Marching Band & volunteer at the Parker Senior Center

I've lived and worked in Denver for over 40 years. I married my best friend, Erik, in 2004, and we enjoy entertaining friends and family at our home in Castle Rock. We have two dogs: Pickles the Papi-Poo, and Fonzie, a big white dog who is scared of his own shadow. We are saltwater aquarists, scuba divers, golfers, and love a glass of wine on a Colorado patio.

He currently serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, and has previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. Steve is also very involved in his community, currently or previously serving on the boards of the Meadows Metro District 1, Castle Rock Public Safety Commission, Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, and more. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (M.Ed. Sports Management) and the University of Connecticut (B.A. Economics).
