Wendys earliest most memorable lesson in real estate came a few weeks after graduation when her father showed her the settlement statement from a house he bought when she was born, that he sold to pay off her school debt. This lesson stuck with her and she qualified for and purchased her first home when she was 22 the year following her graduation.
